Three schools, kept separate

Parashari, Krishnamurti Paddhati and Bhrigu Nandi Nadi disagree on ayanamsa, on what a house even is, and on how time is measured. Blending them silently produces results that belong to none of them. The engine runs each on its own terms and tells you which you are looking at.

   Classical sources

   Rules are taken from Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, Phaladeepika and the Krishnamurti readers — not from generic interpretation text. Where authorities disagree, the engine follows one school consistently rather than blending them.

   Astronomical positions

   Longitudes come from VSOP87 for the planets and ELP‑2000 for the Moon, with Meeus reductions for nutation and precession. Positions agree with Swiss Ephemeris to within a fraction of an arc‑second.

   Sidereal conversion

   Tropical longitudes convert using the ayanamsa appropriate to the system in use. Bhava Chalit cusps are computed separately from the Rasi chart, so house‑based judgements use real cusps rather than whole‑sign approximations.

   Deterministic rule engine

   Every varga, Vimshottari to four levels, Ashtakavarga bindus, Shadbala with all six components, and the full KP star‑lord and sub‑lord chain — all evaluated by explicit rules. The same birth data always produces the same result.

   Reports and research

   Output is print‑ready for the client and structured for the researcher — charts can be queried in bulk so a rule can be tested against a real dataset instead of assumed.

   Stated limits

   Where a calculation is simplified, the interface says so. Varshesh selection, muhurta scanning and the yoga scan are documented as formulaic first passes, not replacements for manual judgement.

What the engine actually computes

Ten calculation modes, each on its own reference frame rather than one bent to fit them all. KP runs on Krishnamurti ayanamsa and Placidus cusps, not Lahiri and whole-sign houses relabelled. Every figure is arithmetic you can check against an ephemeris.

The Events section is where that precision becomes useful. Choose from 82 questions and it shows which grahas carry the significations in your chart and by what rule, which Vimshottari periods activate them at all three levels, whether Jupiter and Saturn confirm by transit, and what the divisional chart says. Periods are named — "Mars–Venus" — with the dasha's own boundary dates and your age across them, because those are arithmetic rather than prediction.

It also lets you enter events that have already happened and shows what the same rules say about them, so you can judge whether this framework fits your chart before you weigh anything still ahead. No other Jyotish software we know of offers that, or tells you how many candidate periods it examined before you start comparing.
