Every prediction in acult is a statement from a classical text, turned into a condition on the chart. It appears only when your chart meets that condition, and the condition is shown with it. Nothing is written for you on the fly.

Each text is read with its own definitions where it differs from Parashara — which houses count as trines, which signs are watery, when the Moon counts as waxing, whether Rahu and Ketu cast aspects. A statement that depends on a term the text never defines, such as "well placed" or "afflicted", is left out rather than guessed.

For the verse texts, the cited verse must exist in the chapter. Every rule is run on thousands of random charts. A grave prediction that fires for a large share of people usually means a misread condition. The texts list single factors — "a benefic in an angle", "the house not aspected by its own lord" — and expect the reader to weigh them together. Read one at a time, many of them hold for most people: "a benefic is in an angle or trine" is true of five charts in six. Shown as a verdict, such a line is wrong for most of the people who read it, and it sits beside its opposite.
So every rule was run on 3,000 real charts — births from 1940 to 2025 at twelve Indian cities, computed by the app's own engine — and the share of charts it holds for was recorded. A rule that holds for more than one chart in four is not shown. When one verse gives a plain and a stronger form of the same result and both hold, only the stronger is shown, and two rules that say the same thing are shown once.

Texts written centuries apart do not always agree, and even one text can give opposite results for two conditions that both hold.

Each prediction is tagged with what it speaks about — wealth, health, length of life, marriage, children, status, learning, fame, property and a few more — whose life it concerns (yours, your spouse's, your father's …), and whether it is favourable. Two predictions that touch the same matter for the same person, in the same scope — the life as a whole, or one dasha period — and point opposite ways are both left out. A typical chart meets about 130 contradicting conditions, and all of them are withheld.
Predictions about different people do not clash: "wealthy" for you and "loss of wealth" for a brother can both stand. The same holds for a house: if one rule says the 7th house prospers and another that the spouse will suffer, neither is shown.

A prediction here says that a classical text gives this effect for a condition your chart meets. It is not a probability, and the app does not claim the texts are right: a dated, predictive version of this tradition was tested against 111 charts and 866 recorded events and matched about as often as chance. That result is published.
Serious predictions — illness, loss, death — are folded under "Serious indications" until you open them, with a reminder that each has to be weighed with the strength of the planets and the whole chart.
